Do I need to pay taxes on the royalties that I received?

Taxes on income from royalties interests are subject to different legislations depending on the country of residence of each individual investor. This is why at ANote Music, when it comes to tax declarations, our recommendation is to contact a local tax advisor, as they should be able to advise you on all the specifications and regulations for your country of residence’s case.

You may need a ‘Portfolio Report’ in order to have the breakdown of royalties received during a specific period of time. Find the steps to request and download your portfolio report here. Please keep in mind that it may take up to one business day before your report will be available for download.

If you have any question during the process please contact: support@anotemusic.com

It is worth noting that our offices are located in Luxembourg (European Union), where no withholding tax is applied to royalties distributed to individuals or companies, whether they are local or international. This means that our investors will receive the gross amount in all your royalties distributions (net of our distribution fees).
